Project Online Licensing Changes Are Coming
As mentioned earlier this month project service changes coming October there are changes coming to Project Online.
At the end of October 2019, Microsoft will update subscription names on their websites and in their documentation. The updates to the subscription names – and what these subscriptions include – are as follows:
Original: Project Online Professional
- Project Online (Project Web App (PWA)) – Professional functionality
- Project Online desktop client
New: Project Plan 3
- New Project service
- Project Online (Project Web App (PWA)) – Professional functionality
- Project Online desktop client
Original: Project Online Premium
- Project Online (Project Web App (PWA)) – Premium functionality
- Project Online desktop client
New: Project Plan 5
- New Project service
- Project Online (Project Web App (PWA)) – Premium functionality
- Project Online desktop client
Yes, once again Microsoft is changing the naming for their licenses.
